As a proud member of the Elmont Union Free school District, the Alden Terrace School is home to a dedicated and caring team of faculty and staff members.

Nestled on the southernmost portion of the Elmont Union Free School District, Alden boasts a diverse population with an average of three classes on each grade level. In addition to immersion in curriculum in Physical Education, Art, Music, Literacy, Technology and Library Skills, our scholars also have an opportunity to participate in programs that enrich the general curriculum including: Model UN, Math Olympiads, National Geography Bee, University Day, Student Council, Art Club, The Alden Terrace Actors Studio, Public Speaking Squad, Chorus, Band, Orchestra, Year Book Club, Lego Robotics and our Digital Piano Program.

Alden Parents are dedicated and involved. As partners in the academic process, parents play an integral role in the overall vitality of our school.

The elementary years are a critical component in education. At the Alden Terrace School, our goal is to provide a solid foundation academically, socially and emotionally which will prepare and equip our scholars to be positive contributors and change makers in a complex and changing global society.
